Kendall Kingscott were appointed by Sheldon School to manage the replacement of two life expired temporary classrooms and to provide a single stand-alone new Dance Studio and classroom block. The project was funded by the ESFA Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) for which we managed the process and prepared all associated documentation.
Appointed as Employer’s Agent, Principal Designer and Quantity Surveyor we led the design team and managed the project delivery through a Design and Build route.
Working closely with the school and key stakeholders we carefully established the brief and requirements for this state of the art studio, classroom and ancillary space. The new block was designed to be energy efficient and comply with all requirements of Building Bulletins. Flexible lecture theatre seating was also introduced to make the spaces as multi use as possible.
