This innovative project was the product of a 10-year working relationship with Nuffield Health. We provided full architectural and CDM services for this major redevelopment of The Manor Ground, Oxford City’s former stadium.
The architecture demonstrates a balanced juxtaposition between the traditional brick construction of the wards and the hi-tech ETFE atrium roof and terracotta rain-screen cladding containing the modern medical treatment and operating suites. The project included a commissioned sculpture commemorating the site’s history as a sporting venue.
