Currently looking at the Advanced Composite Centre for Innovation and Science (ACCIS), University of Bristol project

We carried out a spatial review for the Faculty of Engineering that identified the need to improve the accommodation for the specialist research laboratories and study spaces of the ACCIS department.

The construction programme was phased to allow the building to remain occupied and minimise the use of decant accommodation.  Weekly programme meetings were held to ensure users were aware of any construction operations that could have an impact on them.

We produced detailed specifications and construction drawings of brickwork elevations and fenestration in order to eliminate any wasteful cutting of bricks.  We also used large roof lights to maximise natural daylight and ventilation in the deep plan areas.
